Bonding

Phoebe and Henry have a great relationship already! I thought I would share some of their moments of togetherness. I think it is going to be a great childhood friendship for her :) She is enjoying eating more and more. So far there hasn't been a food that she has rejected (and she has tried every one of Gerber's first foods). She even seems to be gaining weight in the last two weeks. The Dr. would be proud. She is not, however, sleeping through the night, yet. In fact, I think her sleeping habits are regressing. For the past week, she has woken every two hours--almost to the dot--all night long. She wakes up, nurses, and generally goes back to sleep; but some nights, she likes to stay up for a while. So we are working on that. I asked the doctor his opinion, and he said that if she wakes up and cries during the night, I should attend to her and not let her cry. But I don't know if I can abide by that much longer. I feel like she needs to sleep for longer stretches than two hours at a time for her own well being, not just so that I can sleep through the night. Wouldn't she grow better if she slept for longer stretches? I'm just wondering.
